Affiliation for the 2024/25 season opens from the 5th June. Find everything you need in our dedciated support page here

Opening on 5th June 2024, Club Affiliation will once again be available within the CLUB PORTAL where you will be able access your club information in preparation for setting up for the 2024/25 season.

AFFILIATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024-25 SEASON

All Clubs

Public Liability Insurance – All clubs are required to have Public Liability Insurance covering the club for the upcoming year.

Club Ground – It is a requirement for clubs to state their main home ground. You can do this ahead of affiliation opening in your ‘My Club’ tab. You can find guidance on how to complete this here

Key Officials – Clubs are required to state their key officials. You can find guidance of how to add your key officials here

Safeguarding Declaration – Every club will be required to accept a Safeguarding Declaration. Where clubs have teams that play across different levels of the game, multiple declarations will need to be accepted.

Club Roles – As a reminder, individuals should not hold greater than 4 roles within the same club. Manchester FA will monitor and contact clubs where it is apparent that individuals have been linked to greater than 4 roles.

 

Clubs With Adult Teams

Personal Accident Insurance – All teams are required to have Personal Accident Insurance.

Team Ground – It is a requirement for teams to state their main home ground. You can do this ahead of affiliation opening in your ‘My Club’ tab. You can find guidance on how to complete this here

Named Manager or Coach – Every team must have a minimum of one Manager or Coach. This can be completed ahead of affiliation opening in your ‘Officials’ tab. You can find guidance here

Welfare Officer - Clubs with adult teams require a named ‘Welfare Officer (Adult Teams)’. For the 2023/2024 season, no qualifications are required for this role.

NEW - Player Welfare Course - All named team officials (excluding team secretary) attached to open-aged teams must complete the Player Welfare Course as part of the affiliation process for 24/25.To access the course click HERE

Clubs With Youth Teams

Personal Accident Insurance – All teams* are required to have Personal Accident Insurance, including U5 and U6 teams.

Team Ground – It is a requirement for teams to state their main home ground. You can do this ahead of affiliation opening in your ‘My Club’ tab. You can find guidance on how to complete this here

Named Manager or Coach – Every youth team must name all managers and coaches assigned to each team. This can be completed ahead of affiliation opening in your ‘Officials’ tab. NEW - All managers and coaches require an in-date, accepted DBS & to have completed the Safeguarding Children Course. You can find guidance here

Clubs With Adult Disability Teams

INSURANCE

Once again Manchester FA have partnered with UK Global as our primary provider for public liability and personal accident insurance policies and more information on these can be found by clicking HERE. As with last season, clubs will also be able to upgrade their personal accident insurance for Adult Teams from within the CLUB PORTAL at the time of completing affiliation.

For clarity, the mandatory minimum products offered by Manchester FA via UK Global meet all requirements for club affiliation for the 2024/25 season.

Manchester FA is now able to confirm our affiliation pricing ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Manchester FA fees for the 2024/25 season are as follows;
